Emilia Greenleaf (Natalie Portman)'s life is in a mess. She grieves the loss of her infant daughter, Isabelle, and leads a somewhat depressed life as the second wife of a lawyer, Jack Wolfe (Scott Cohen). To make matters even more difficult, she also has to deal with the grudges and attacks of Jack's ex-wife Caroline (Lisa Kudrow) because of her reputation as a home wrecker. And how to get along with her stepson William (Charlie Tahan) not only tests her ability to handle the world.
===========================
I didn't search for Natalie Portman because she was in Black Swan Of the other films, I saw this one directly and remembered that she had acted in "Black Swan".
There is a main line in the film, that it is difficult to be a stepmother, but as long as you truly love each other, you will always feel it, especially children, who should be simple and kind.
But after reading it, I still hold my original opinion. I don’t know whether it’s easier for a child from abroad, or a simpler or more open relationship in foreign countries. In short, being a stepmother in China may be far more difficult than acting in the film.
I was moved by the commemoration of the walk. There are some people who are doing activities to help themselves and others. Those who have been injured or who have lost children should make a memorial together. Now, there are many women who have lost their babies, most of whom are sad occasionally alone in the dark night.
I also have injuries in the bottom of my heart. Sometimes I look at the pedestrians on the street and wonder if these pedestrians are living peacefully and happily, and if they also have some unspeakable injuries. At a certain moment, I thought of it and sighed in pain while scolding myself for pretending to be coercive.
Psychiatrists always comment like this, your current heartache, or character problems, are largely influenced by your parents when you were a child, or some shocking incidents that happened when you were young.
It may be justified, but no matter it is the injury we suffered when we were young or the ups and downs we encountered when we grew up, as women, we have experienced forbearance, strength, and unbridled past. We hope that we can have it under the sun. happy life.
