The movie has always followed the hero's line of sight to feel the war, and feel the truth of the war that the hero sees, so the information in that memory card is so precious.
It's just that in order to conform to the movie, the film brought in a lot of dramatic conflicts. The part where the Cossack and the hero were singled out and then killed by the Russian soldiers was too dramatic. I don't understand why the Cossack kissed the hero before killing him. Is it a Cossack custom? I have seen Cossacks in an episode of NHK's documentary "Journey to the Turbulent Land" before, and they are really fanatical about Lao Maozi.
And why didn't the hero return to Tbilisi with the retreating Georgian army? Wouldn't that ensure the dissemination of video materials?
The last part of the film is the testimony of the victim's family. It's still very touching. Let's add a few stars for this.
