on and off, and like other shows in the same series, it was beautifully shot, telling the life of John Adams.
Who is John Adams, I didn't know before watching this movie, and I guess most non-Americans don't know either, but you must have heard of George Washington Jefferson (third president, portrait on two dollars) and Benjamin Franklin (one of the founding men, portrait on one hundred dollars). And this John Adams (the second president and the father of the sixth president, Quincy Adams) is much bleaker by comparison, and the show is about him.
