The kiss of luck

A few years ago, I saw this film in Xindongfang's recess, and it was only released for about ten minutes due to time constraints. I don't know the title of the film, but I've been thinking about it for a long time.

I found this movie by chance last year, but just started watching it today. The male protagonist's image has improved since the dance. If he keeps being unlucky, we won't be able to see the handsome guy. The heroine kisses 20 dancers to regain her luck, and this episode is the funniest in the film. Kissing 20 dancers is also very fragrant. Ashley is still unlucky, and she's independent when Jake helps her. This is the point that impresses me the most. Even if you are unlucky, even if you are down and out, still do your best. How many Chinese girls can do this? Seeing a stable shoulder, why don't you hurry up?

What impresses me most about this film is that no matter how bad luck the hero and heroine are, they persist optimistically and try to solve the problem. Despite the heavy rain, despite the bad luck, the two of them stood up and walked on. I seem to see two people glowing on the muddy road.

The plot is okay, a typical American love story

I would only give two stars without Chris Pine

Just My Luck quotes

  • Jake Hardin: [as Ashley is changing a light bulb] See that's not good. She should have gone up without the bulb and brought down the old one because now she's gonna be juggling...

  • Jake Hardin: Can I give you a ride?

Ashley Albright: I only live twenty nine blocks from here.

Jake Hardin: Uh, at least take my umbrella.

Ashley Albright: I already have one.

Jake Hardin: You know, I got a washer-dryer, uh... microwave popcorn, satellite T.V.

    Ashley Albright: No, I... I really shouldn't.

Jake Hardin: Look, I don't do this for just anybody, but I'll even throw in some hot chocolate with those little tiny marshmallows.

Ashley Albright: I love the little marshmallows.

Jake Hardin: How about you toss the lighting rod and get in.

    Ashley Albright: Ooh...

    [sighs]

    Ashley Albright: Thank you.
