Heartbreaking, heartbreaking

Like director Sylvain Chomet's previous works, "The Magician" is rich in color, soft and delicate, and has a typical impressionist painting style. (But compared to the director's previous works, the film added a little CGI computer special effects on the basis of hand-painted animation to render the warm sunshine in the film, the fog in the heavy rain..., and so on.)
The little girl believes in dreams, believes in A magician is a magician. The magician also spends almost all his energy and money to satisfy all the dreams and desires of the little girl. Until she was almost destitute, until she was almost exhausted, until the little girl finally found the "prince" in her mind, until she finally had the courage and perseverance (and a partner) to face all the pains and sufferings she might face in life.
Like the reality that our magician himself is facing.
A heart-wrenching movie, a heart-breaking movie.

Just like the style of "Crazy Dating Beautiful City", the story is more elegant and sad. There is no magic in this world, it's just that reality is so unbearable that we need a little light. The loneliness and warmth in the first 15 minutes of the show were enough to instantly influence people, but the more I went on, the more I felt that there was a lack of warmth, so that the emotions could not continue...

In the end, tears came out of me who knew the truth... Even if I downloaded the infinitely repeated version of the trailer twice, a good work will not make you lose patience. The style, story, and soundtrack are excellent. Although the dialogue is almost scarce enough to be compared to a silent film, good works can often impress you deeply without much words. ★★★★☆
