Heartbreaking, heartbreaking

Like director Sylvain Chomet's previous works, "The Magician" is rich in color, soft and delicate, and has a typical impressionist painting style. (But compared to the director's previous works, the film added a little CGI computer special effects on the basis of hand-painted animation to render the warm sunshine in the film, the fog in the heavy rain..., and so on.)
The little girl believes in dreams, believes in A magician is a magician. The magician also spends almost all his energy and money to satisfy all the dreams and desires of the little girl. Until she was almost destitute, until she was almost exhausted, until the little girl finally found the "prince" in her mind, until she finally had the courage and perseverance (and a partner) to face all the pains and sufferings she might face in life.
Like the reality that our magician himself is facing.
A heart-wrenching movie, a heart-breaking movie.
