I really liked it after watching it. The film is soothing, elegant, very human, and the pacing is what I like. Love this movie about the love of the sisters, cameron was very touching when she read the poem at the wedding. Also love the doting of the gentle Jewish man to her sister. Rose's conversation with him during dinner touched me---what are the things that hold you together?
I think both of them acted very well. What impresses me is actually Cameron Diaz, I think her acting skills have matured a lot now, and she has gotten rid of the image of a complete vase. This role is still very suitable for her, it is simply natural. Can't help but remind me of her in that charming there's something about mary years ago. Time flies, but she is always so cute, with a big grin and a happy innocent smile. Her smile is contagious.
Oh, by the way, I really like the nursing home inside. I think it would be great if I could stay in such a place when I am old. The people inside are very humorous. When the professor who helped cameraon overcome his dyslexia passed away, cameraon smiled warmly at his relic.
I saw that other heroines in this movie were nominated. Every character is really human.
The shoes inside are so pretty.
There is also a poem, very beautiful.
I carry your heart with me
by EE Cummings
I carry your heart with me
I carry it in my heart
I am never without it
anywhere I go you go, my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing, my darling
I fear no fate
for you are my fate, my sweet
I want no world
for beautiful you are my world, my true
here's the deepest secret no one knows
here's the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;
which grows higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide
and here is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
I carry your heart
I carry it in my heart
