Thierry, a copycat artist, finally succeeded, selling over a million works of art. But the movie clearly puts a lot of quotation marks on the artistic nouveau riche title. Those street artists risking arrest to express their ideas in alternative ways, are they noble or humble?
I specifically looked up the word "street graffiti" in the film Graffiti, which is illegal in many countries. In the UK, they can be jailed for up to 10 years. This is also one of the reasons why the director and protagonist Banksy refused to show his face.
