It would be inappropriate to say that the movie is a clichéd motivational structure. The movie actually talks about faith, communism, music, money and power, and of course God, in wit and self-deprecation. In the end, it is not so much that Tchaikovsky's tunes saved the film, but rather the belief in beautiful human nature (retrieving dignity and kinship) that saved the film. When Filipov speaks of a bygone era, he uses one word, complex. When communism appeared in the movie, it was obviously not just a laughing stock. Did the disappearance of the ashes make the movie lose some of its thought-provoking interest?
We don't set up idols after watching a movie, we believe in the values that we hope to establish in the crowd, we believe in our own beliefs, we don't devalue the beliefs of others, we oppose repression, we long for love and dignity!
