In the whole movie, there are no strange aliens, no fights, speeding cars and other things that would appear in crime movies, and no shocking conspiracies. There are only two people who are calm and even tired to solve the case. Because they are old and we are all old.
X-Files This is the first American drama I watched. I still remember sitting on my bed at home watching it with breathless eyes when I was a child. I still remember a few episodes that scared me to sleep alone at night, and I still remember countless times when I decided not to I watched it but sat by the TV on time every night.
At that time, I thought Mulder was the most handsome man, and I thought Scully was the embodiment of wisdom. And it was this TV series, the first time I knew the term aliens, and it also made me believe in their existence.
After many years, watch movies again. The film truly records the aging of the two. We are watching their changes, but at the same time, we are also watching our own aging. Time made the two of them no longer have the looks they used to have, and time brought all the thrills to silence, but precipitated their feelings for each other. Maybe, the ending should be like this, quietly, tell everyone, it's over. Maybe the secret is still being created, maybe there will be new people to continue the new story, but the story of mulder and scully is over.
It's over, and the story comes to a quiet end. In this story, there are mulder and scully and us who are watching the story. The film records the development of a TV series and our growth.
