The subject matter is not uncommon, and the techniques are not new. The sense of rhythm is not enhanced by the humorous lines and high school bridges. The emotional direction is also a little less convincing. Passing work, but not refined.

Cemetery Junction quotes

  • [last lines]

Freddie Taylor: Why did you decide to come at the last minute?

Julie: No. Thought I'd make a dramatic entrance.

Freddie Taylor: Don't know why we ran so hard, there's another one in an hour.

  • [to Freddie, on his first day at work]
