The night before yesterday, I watched "Inkheart", which I kept not long ago. It was a fantasy film. I've seen all kinds of sci-fi and fantasy movies before, but I didn't feel anything at all. I always felt that the magic and inconceivable were what stood out. However, after watching this film, I suddenly realized that I really liked it.
It seems that its definition is far more than fantasy.
People always want to have some different energy in order to prove their special. When this power becomes a burden, or even a disaster, people look forward to the ordinary and simple. This seems a bit like the feeling of the American drama "Hero", huh, huh. In the story, Motimer's speical is like the magic pen Ma Liang, which can make the characters on the paper appear in the real world. Unlike the magic pen Ma Liang, he doesn't need to draw, he just needs to read it out loud, just like a spell Same...so he was called "silvertone" by those who came out of the book. Without knowing it, the catastrophe happened. When he was reading the book "Inkheart" in front of her daughter's cradle, in front of his wife, it all became a reality, and in an instant, his wife disappeared...because, when a character is called out of the book, there always seems to be someone Will be replaced, his wife...
For more than ten years, he has kept the truth from his daughter Maggie, looking for the almost extinct "Inkheart", hoping to save his wife one day... And the people who were called out by him , in a corner of the world, having a greedy and sinful dream.
"Inkheart" is a magical book. From it, there are all demons and monsters like animals. They are spurned and despised species in the book. In this real world, they get the so-called freedom and revenge. hapiness. They do not want to return to the world in that book. So, they pretty much ruined all Inkheart. There is only one exception, and that is Dustfinger. He longed to return to the book to be with his family. So, he's been looking for silvertone, looking for "Inkheart". The story unfolds like a flashback...
Before, I never thought about what would happen if the characters in the book appeared alive one day, even if it was made into a movie, even if some characters in the book could indeed be found in life. However, there was no such strong shock that came out directly. Because, you found that their souls really exist, and they are completely in line with the detailed description of them in the book. When I read a book, I just construct all kinds of pictures in my mind. Actually, no. When reading a book, you should put yourself in the book, talk to those people, chat... Input yourself, not output results, this is called being there. As the author of the last "Inkheart" has always dreamed: to enter the world of his dreams. It should be into the world he created, which he calls "set him free".
In the book, Dustfinger is ugly and selfish. Coming into this world, he is just that, perfectly matching the role of the author. But later, he also set him free. Because, he suddenly understood: he is always free, not the author wrote it like that, he should be like that. He can control himself. he can! Yes, in life, are you really what everyone takes for granted? Behind the disguised mask, where is the real you hiding? Is there a time when you should use your firmness and courage to take off the worldly mask and be your true self?
In the end, Dustfinger still didn't get out of the "selfish" circle. He didn't believe Motimer's promise to him that Motimer would read Dustfinger back after rescuing her wife. As he was about to leave sadly, Motimer chased after him and finally sent him back. Don't think of others as being selfish just because you are selfish. Don't think that you will always be looked down upon and forgotten just because you were once selfish... Everyone has the right to repent and pursue happiness.
Those sinful and greedy people are always like that. Their world exists in those dark corners of the book. The hysterical clamor in the bright world is nothing but to conceal the infinite inferiority in the heart. The more presumptuous, the more they show their fear and anxiety. In a world that does not belong to them, or in other words, does not belong to the morality and conscience they can bear, they will eventually be reduced to ashes... just like the end of the story.
Human potential is unlimited. I will always believe. Often, always burst to the limit at the moment of persecution. Maggie inherited his dad's magic. She can also read everything on paper. So she was controlled by those demons. In the climax part, the changes of the plot are all controlled by Maggie. The devil reads the evil Shadow more than her. In the end, with the encouragement of the author of "Inkheart", with the encouragement of his father's love, and with her own firm and kind heart, she wrote a different story:
The shadow turned away from innocent and back to the evil master who had controlled him all these years. The shadow reached out to him with ashen hands. And as it did, Capricorn began to crackle and fade like the old page of a book, growing transparent and thin as paper… Capricorn's ink-black soul filled with terror…As he saw the end was near. And, so, too, did the souls of all those within the shadow's gaze who'd committed villainy in Capricorn's name. And then they blew away , like ashes in the wind, while the terrible monster himself disintegrated and was no more…
In fantasy movies, the power of ordinary humans is always small and fragile. But the eternal and invincible is always interspersed in the story, and the screenwriters are also happy to use it, that is-love. This story is no exception. The love between father and daughter, the love between husband and wife, the love between sisters... My favorite character is Maggie's aunt, Elinor. She is addicted to books, she thought it was her sister who abandoned her family and ran away and felt a little resentful towards Maggie's mother. Although she is in a hurry and carefree, she is always a knife-mouthed tofu-hearted person. Her love for Maggie, the little girl, and her endless concern for her sister are not reflected in her mouth, but in her actions and her every move. I like this big woman like a devil, she has enough personality, hehe. Especially the scene where a lot of people are still riding motorcycles like a chivalrous girl to the top of the mountain to save their relatives, so handsome!
This is an ordinary movie for people who like to watch fantasy movies and novels, but for people who like to read, touch thick old books and laugh, enjoy life, smile, and love , definitely worth a look.
