I have read a biography of St. Exupery written by the British, "The Love and Death of the Little Prince", in which it is written that the family priest of St. Exupery was once on the battlefield of World War I, just like a movie in the evening. The priest sang about the Holy Brother, and later the German priest in the opposite trench sang about the Holy Brother in German. The moment I read the book, my eyes were really hot for a while. Imagine peace and friendship...
that's the kind of story the movie tells, a story based on real scenarios of war. But I don't know if the latter part of the movie is true, it should be exaggerated.
There's just one female lead in the movie, a standard blonde (seems more like the Danish kind).
The color of the movie drama is very strong.
