So watching old movies has become my weekly activity. This time I was looking for a 1985 domestic film "Gourmet", but I accidentally bumped into this 1976 French film "Gourmet", killing two birds with one stone and a surprise.
In the film, Mr. Duchemin is the editor-in-chief of a magazine similar to the "Michelin Restaurant Guide". He is cunning and clever, laughing constantly. Incidentally, he represents the French cuisine and jokes about the crudeness of fast food culture. Movie.
In the past, I didn’t have any special research on eating. Later, I was influenced by the gourmet atmosphere of Ah Kui, and because of the work relationship at that time, I realized the exquisiteness of eating. Now that I am older, I have a lot of pears, and peach is very big, I realize the connotation of eating and sleeping. These two are the core of maintaining the quality of life, and we must pay attention to quality; it is ridiculous to ignore the values of eating and sleeping in any name.
At the end of the film, although Duchemin lost his sense of taste, he only used his eyesight to judge the origin of a glass of wine, and did some reasoning possessed by Sherlock Holmes:

The film uses a very sci-fi way to make fun of fast food. In the factory, chicken and fish are injection-molded with chemical raw materials, rabbits are bigger than pigs, and vegetables are plastic paper. Living 35 years later, I am ashamed that we are really eating such things now. The gigantic fruits have no sweetness, and the dishes that used to be seasoned in the past are now eaten every day, but they are not always the same taste as in the past.
Eating meaningfully is to live well, and living well is to eat meaningfully.
I want to be a gourmet with lower requirements. I don’t need daily delicacies from mountains and seas. As long as I don’t treat eating as an errand, I don’t neglect eating and drinking to make a few money. Law.
