May I be used by you, may grow old for you, may fall into hell because of you

This is not a vampire story full of romantic fantasies.

Abby's picture has made it clear that all she needs is another cover, another accomplice, another slave, no matter what her feelings for Owen, or "father" are. Even if she loved, it was just a small emotional wave in a hundred years of loneliness. But to Owen, she was a friend, she played with him, taught him to fight back, went to the secret base with him, slept with him, bleed for him, and saved his life. The love of the young man is sincere and firm, even if Abby's fangs are pressed against his wrinkled neck one day many years later, I hope he can still smile and slowly tap "I LOVE" on her arm. Simple beautiful words.

PS: According to preconceived ideas, all the violent and bloody scenes in the US version, Abby's rants, and the flashbacks at the beginning of the movie are clouds. As long as there is white snow, and her company on the unknown journey ahead, Owen is enough.
