Then what?

I just couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the DVDScreen version could be downloaded even though the official release date in Australia is 17th of February.

I guess there were lots of screenplays depicting the coping procedures after the death of a family member. the pain can not be felt by others who had never came across and probably would never want had that at experiences in the future. Every scene in the movie feels I cannot help but thinking about some cliche plots, for instance, the man will eventually had affair and divorces Nicole...Blah, Blah, Blah. But they never happened and would never happen because they loved each other so much that nothing awkward. would tears them apart again. But they coping mechanisms are universal: either by throwing out all the things which might reminds them the little boy or cry their eyes out and hearts broken...the slam Nicole gave the women who questioned her motherhood in the supermarket is so surreal at the first sight but then it feels so real. The sane and disciplined mind doesn't follow the rules now...

the idea of Rabbit hole is interesting: maybe there are a lot of us living in different detentions; they might don't live on the planet but they will still live somewhere else and sneak around at night and watches you discreetly. Also, the last monologue seems really meaningful: Nicole continues asking about then what? then what? Life should move on, just like the wheels of a train. It stops at the station ans then it waited for a while for the boarding, and then it goes on and on and on. You could hear the clicking.

"Then we wrap it,
Then we have the cook out,
Then they will come over, there are a couple of others, so it's not too awkward to anyone
Then to make them fell comfortable we will ask questions about what the kids are being up to we will pretend we were really interested,
Then we will wait someone to bring up Danie while the kid are playing and maybe that will go on for a little while and after that they will go home and then what?
I DON'T KNOW...SOMETHING ELSE...

Brilliant movie, want to recommend to anyone who are susceptible to those little sad tragedy. To my parents...

    Becca: [voice-over] And then what?

    Howie: [voice-over] I don't know... Something though.

  • Nat: You know, Becca, when your brother died, I found the church very helpful.

Becca: I know. I know you did, but that's you. That's not me, and Danny... Danny isn't Arthur.

Nat: You know, I brought you to church every Sunday.

Becca: Let's not start this again, okay, Mom? I'm just... I'm just calling about the cake.

Nat: You're not right about everything, you know? What if there is a God?

Becca: Then I'd say he's a sadistic prick.

Nat: All right, Becca, that's enough.

Becca: "Worship me and I'll treat you like shit." No wonder you like him. He sounds just like Dad.
