American: Pure Arts

The name "American" sounds quite literary. I thought slow pacing and long shots would only be found in Korean and Japanese films, but I admit I was wrong.

This film is like serving a plate of beautifully crafted desserts to Hollywood diners who are used to steak and burgers. Maybe some people will taste very unpalatable and even nauseated; while others just play a role in regulating the stomach. Moreover, the name of "George Clooney" is written on the label of this dessert, which not only attracts the attention of diners, but also proves George Clooney's artistic temperament. I like this type of movie very much, the seemingly slow and unpredictable cuts and lengthy long shots are really not to hypnotize the audience, but to subtly instill a sense of character identification or colloquially understood as bringing the audience into the Role. Moreover, the soundtrack in this type of film is also very particular, and most scenes should use ambient sound, and this film is no exception. From the point of view of the soundtrack alone, it is the icing on the cake. The big passion scene between Jack and the prostitute seems a bit redundant anyway, so take it as an interpretation of Italy, the country of sex. The director may really be a fan of Korean dramas. Look at the annoying ending. It should have been a Korean handsome boy or a beauty with plastic surgery who died in the car. This time, Clooney, who is a gentleman, doesn't fit, doesn't fit!
