It's becoming more and more like a game

There are certain spoilers~ I watched it

with a lot of expectations, but I was a little disappointed at the end. The feelings brought by saw1 and saw2 have been completely gone, and the rest is blood splashing and internal organs flying. Gore, and that's something I'm not very interested in.

Looking at the seventh part, looking at the Chinese translation, I thought it was the last one, and I was looking forward to it a lot, but I never thought that there would be three sequel characters in the end. Except for one who showed up, the remaining two were all I haven't had a chance to see the real face of Mount Lu. It seems that the sequel is still coming out, and it seems that it is indeed true that a series with a long schedule is made into one episode every year.

There is naturally an old chainsaw in saw7. I think the original screenwriter killed John and left a huge continuity barrier for the screenwriter behind, which made the subsequent stories seem a bit far-fetched. The GAME dominated by the old chainsaw idea in this saw7 is the main game plot of the movie: a game of a writer who lies to the public. It's just from the last episode that the protagonist of this main storyline will not face the real test of life and death (especially saw7, in the end, there is no mention of whether the liar will live or die in the end), and more of it becomes someone who saves others. Life and death, this is the biggest change from the beginning. Think of the first saw, the direct purpose of the characters in it is to get out of trouble, and even kill teammates for their own survival. However, it has now become a game similar to level-breaking. The liars in saw7 basically pass the level in a failed way, but in the end, I found that if the previous small level was successful, it would naturally save a person, but with the last The mark doesn't really matter, and in the end, you still have to climb the chain to get out of the predicament. It’s a pity that they all failed in the end. The closest to the final mark of success, I thought I was going to succeed, but I didn’t expect to fail unfortunately. I think the biggest purpose of the screenwriter is to ask everyone to exercise more? Strong physique, strong muscles, in this main game plot, at least 2 levels are based on perseverance, mainly relying on physical strength to successfully pass the level. Maybe it's because of the fact that a saw game has been released. Although I have liked Konami's games since Silent Hill, I just gave up after playing for 10 minutes. This is why I don't like saw7. .

Let's talk about the main story. The above GAME story is about half of the movie, and the other half is the story of Officer Hoffman and JILL. Due to JILL's mistakes, in fact, normally, since JILL has the ability to give Hoffman Arranging a game is naturally very powerful, but in the end, she found that her ability was only limited to completing JOHN's designated arrangements, such as delivering letters, and finally coming out with a fatal blow, etc., but because she insisted on herself too much The husband's principle, of course, does not mean that Hoffman's GAME will not give you a little chance to escape. In the last part, Hoffman escaped with blood loss. On the other hand, he found that he was unable to control the situation and could only rely on the assistance of the police (actually, if you understand better, the previous battles with the police all ended in the fiasco of the police, so it is better to check your husband’s death at this time. what remains of the legacy of the undiscovered). So the face-to-face confrontation between JILL and Hoffman ended in the complete defeat of JILL, and a large number of innocent police officers were caught up. I really sighed for these hard-working police officers. . . . And after Hoffman successfully revenge (I think there is nothing wrong with using revenge, in my opinion his actions against JILL are completely revenge), he wants to run away with money! ! ! Still want to run away. . . . Alas, it seems that the old chainsaw is really not enough for his education, and it is also because he has not experienced the choice between life and death. This is different from Gordon, who has shown the choice between life and death since the first part. When watching saw1, when I saw Gordon holding a saw, I really felt a chill in my heart and a hair. In this part, the scene where high temperature is added to treat the wound is also heartbroken. . . At first, I thought this scene was just a rewind to the previous plot, but later I found out that it had a deeper meaning. The big brother of the chainsaw disciple finally came out. There is no doubt that this big brother is naturally Dr. Gordon. So I found out that these life-and-death games turned out to be the old chainsaw JOHN choosing disciples. Those who survived have the opportunity to enter the chainsaw door. Naturally, the losers can only accompany the god of death. Although there are some exceptions, most of them will reveal their faults in the end. So the chainsaw door is estimated to flourish after this.

It's a pity that the innocent Inspector Gibson and his assistant and a whole team of team members are trying to solve the case in the movie, but the police's equipment is also a bit thin, and gas masks are not even there, and the reaction is also a bit different. It's so brave in other American blockbusters, a broken iron door is locked, but it's just like a middle-aged aunt in ordinary scenes shook the door a few times.

As for the series of mechanical products in the scene, since I am not too interested in the bloody scenes, I don't know how to watch it carefully, and I don't pay too much attention to the various death scenes. It's just that at the very beginning, the three-person choice scene held in the downtown area in broad daylight seemed too arrogant for the chainsaws. It is estimated that the screenwriter implemented the style of the previous dramas and suppressed it with a big scene at the beginning. The slashing scene is really shocking.

What I don't quite understand: The pectoralis major hook scene when the liar rescued his wife at the end, I really don't understand why you don't hang it somewhere else, the clothes, pants and belts are all suitable places, of course. Maybe you're afraid that someone will look at you, sigh, but it doesn't make sense. Even if no one watched the previous plot, there was basically no chance to cheat. This time is different.

Overall, I can only give a passing 3 stars. I found that the score of saw drops every episode, and the expectations for saw8 have also faded, but thinking back, it is indeed not easy to get 7 in the series. Woolen cloth!

Saw: The Final Chapter quotes

  • Dr. Gordon: Bravo! To be able to sustain such a traumatic experience and, uh... and yet find a positive in that grizzly act. It's a remarkable feat, indeed. Remarkable... if not a little perverse.

  • Gibson: [talking to Jill] It's a safe house Jill! Safe. House.

    [Walks out of the room]

Secretary: We just got this. Hoffman knows she's here.

    Gibson: Goddamnit!
