Just to clarify, to balance the high score, I'll give it a star. Objectively speaking, I would give three stars.

I just finished watching "Let the Bullets Fly" and I was very disappointed. I feel that the biggest success of "Let the Bullets Fly" is to successfully create the "Emperor's New Clothes" effect among the audience with overwhelming strong public opinion. Its quality, in a nutshell, as a comedy, its level is about the same as that of "Western Wind" as a police and bandit drama. are pretty bad.
First of all, the screenwriters of "Jean" are very weak. Although there are many screenwriters, it is a pity that no one has the ability to construct a qualified film. The logic of the whole "Jean" is very far-fetched. The occurrence of an event is not logical, but is overshadowed by a few casual explanations, although the logic is almost untenable. These flaws are covered up by the exaggerated and laughable style of the movie, and everyone in the movie is yelling, whoever is louder is right, and the timid audience is not confident. There must be a reason, otherwise how could he shout so loudly and with such a deep voice? From the very beginning of the movie, Zhang Mazi easily decided to become the county magistrate because Ge You said that being the county magistrate can make money. Is the intelligent bandit Zhang Mazi a fool or a foreigner? The Chinese have known for thousands of years to make money as a gangster. Why did he go earlier? That sixth son, Quan Dang is mentally retarded, so I won't talk about opening my stomach to find jelly, Chen Kun has recruited Chow Yun-fat, why didn't Jiang Wen take the opportunity to counterattack? Is there a more favorable excuse than this? Again, because Ge You shouted a murder sentence, the brave Magistrate Jiang was persuaded again. What logic is this? When the audience is watching, how can they be fooled by such half-hearted logic? I won't go into details later, this film is too messy, and I don't even bother to recall it. It's just that I kidnap you, you kidnap me, I split the money and you steal the money, and it's all messed up. Is this necessary? Although Magistrate Jiang's voice was loud, what he said was not necessarily the truth. I have seen some viewers say that this film is fast-paced, and it is easy to lose track of it if you are distracted. Audiences, have a little confidence, okay? This is not because it speaks quickly, but because the logic is too far-fetched, and it doesn't even make sense on its own. How can you keep up? Some people actually say that it is smooth. Have you only seen domestic films when you are so old?
The film is full of expository lines, constantly telling the audience, why am I doing this, what am I thinking, what am I going to do, and is there a more rudimentary screenwriting technique than this? That Hongmen Banquet was really a very boring scene, and there was nothing clever about the shooting technique. It was nothing more than a few turns of the camera. How could it be said to be a great confrontation? Those few people knelt behind a piece of cloth and sprayed blood for a while. Why did they do this? is this necessary?
The lines are even more blunt. In order to put the words into parallel sentences, seven or eight out of ten are not satisfactory, and there is a lot of nonsense that is smooth and blunt. Saying a sentence three times in a row becomes wisdom. ? It's hard for me to come up with a few examples that I can remember at once. When I think about it now, I only see Teacher Jiang pretending to be cool, Teacher Ge winking, and Teacher Zhou winking.
Moreover, this film is not really a brilliant comedy, it is almost all about words, telling the audience bluntly, I am talking a witty, you must laugh. I heard the audience laugh the most when Shao Bing implied that he had a broken back. The only thing that made me laugh was when Jiang Wenxue and Ge You cried to his wife, and only this, through the context, made the audience laugh by themselves.
Some people say that this film is full of metaphors, how can there be metaphors? Doesn't it mean that the Chinese are all headless flies, whoever is strong and who runs away? It was filmed clearly, and I almost had to tell you again in vernacular - in fact, Jiang Wen really told you in vernacular, why are you afraid of being angry, this is also called a metaphor? Thinking about it now, it's a bit ironic. Sure enough, the audience saw Jiang Wen patted his chest amidst the sound of gongs and drums and told you that this was a good movie, so they ran after him.
Who says this movie doesn't have any urination? In the section of the Hongmen Banquet, you can completely solve the big hand, come back and watch it again, and there is no loss at all.
Well, don't want to spend any more time talking about it. Really disappointed. As a commercial film, it is almost unqualified in terms of story, and its shooting techniques are also very mediocre. I watched the few shooting scenes in the film, all of which were shot by one person at a bunch of people, with some scheduling, and the shots were cut. Shatter some, okay?
In addition, I am not the caretaker of "No 2", "No 1" is a bad movie, I will never watch "No 2".
