The first time I looked at it, it was a story about a run-down boy's encounter, chance encounter, adventure, and romantic encounter. With the familiar Paris as the background, for the sake of director Lu Bei, I watched it, that is, watched it.
The second time I saw it, the angel's role was a little bit heavier. What does an angel represent? Do we all have a guardian angel in heaven watching over our growth. Why did the shabby household encounter such a beautiful adventure?
The third time I watched it, I was already a Christian. In an instant, I had an epiphany, tears streaming down my face.
Is Broken Boy just himself? Persecuted, oppressed, humbled, lost, and abandoned.
In the mirror, he dared not look up. He raised his head, his eyes were just blank, disappointed, and indifferent to the person he saw.
AngleA said, you said, look into your eyes and say, I love you.
He didn't dare to speak loudly and was exhausted.
AngelA said, I love you. I love you.
He was startled, perhaps no one had ever said that to him.
He began to look seriously at the person in the mirror.
AngelA said, in my eyes, what a good person this is. So good that he gave up on himself for so long. Now, let's just say, I love you.
He watched.
Those deep, melancholy, helpless eyes in the mirror, those wild beards.
He thought back to the past.
Unconsciously, his eyes were wet, and his lips were trembling slightly.
I love you. He finally said to himself with tears in his eyes.
AngelA took him with him and settled the evil spirits for him in front of him when he was weak.
He regained his heart and his weight. But he didn't want AngelA to go home.
They all want to be united in one place. It must also fit together.
Inadvertently, Lu Bei painted the most vivid redemptive relationship between God and man.
When we gave up on ourselves, a Savior picked us up and said, I love you more than you.
You must love yourself with me too.
No matter how bad or dirty we are, like a speck of dust falling into the ocean, that stain will
eventually be washed away by God's holiness.
That is amazing grace.
