love the country life there

Tranquil European countryside scene is desirable. Beautiful natural scenery, laid-back people, cute baby triplets, the combination of street singing, the handicrafts of the heroine of the hardware store...the list goes on.

Remember that line, don't mistake charm for agreeableness. People always have to miss many times before they know what is right. Obviously running away at the wedding is too exaggerated and dramatic, just like the contradictory character of the runaway bride. However, movies are always exaggerated and condensed, so the quiet and beautiful rural life always needs a little dramatic story to look good.

Losing and discovering oneself is a vocabulary that only seems to be found in educational films for teens. Because I have never seen something so irresponsible, so tolerated and allowed to make mistakes again and again in the adult world.

Thinking about it, it's actually not. Not everyone can be so lucky in every relationship. They are truly in harmony, and they are willing to understand each other and grow together.

I've watched it several times, but never once did I read it carefully.

Hehe, it's not fair, everyone has run away four times, and I have never even had a chance to run away once.

Runaway Bride quotes

  • Peggy: I'm Peggy Fleming. Not the ice-skater.

  • Ike Graham: [Mrs. Whittenmeyer refuses to sell a wedding gown to Maggie] You sell wedding dresses, right?

Mrs. Whittenmeyer: Yes, I've been selling wedding gowns for thirty-five years.

Ike Graham: Wonderful! Because we are here to buy one! But not just any one.

[points to a gown in the window]

Ike Graham: She wants "that" one!

Mrs. Whittenmeyer: It's a thousand dollars!

Ike Graham: Listen, Aunt Bea! Conversation has never worked for me, let's try "visual."

[jumps into the window and pulls the mannequin down, knocking its wig off]

Ike Graham: We're buying the dress! And anything else she wants!
