what is the truth

If I had to use two words to describe this movie, I could only choose - subversion.

If the quality of a movie is judged purely on the basis of the inspiration the movie brings to people, then this movie should be well-deserved to be selected for the nomination of the most influential movie. As for why I don't directly say that this is one of the most influential films, it is because: first, the films that I have watched are limited, and it is difficult to guarantee that I have missed something; in addition, this film may not meet the taste of the academic school. It may be really meaningless to be too wild and starry. These are always to meet the needs of all viewers. I dare not be too arbitrary. To describe the feeling of this film in the bottom of my heart with a very good word, this is a film that no one dares to call the first when it claims to be the second.

When I saw Don Juan trying to convince the doctor to give him ten days, a conspiracy was quietly being woven. Even though I knew I would fall under depp's little smoky makeup, I pretended to be strong and waited to see what tricks he could play. As a result, just like every confrontation with him, he always fell slowly and unknowingly, as if he was hypnotized and unable to resist, he could only obediently let him be at his mercy, but still felt extremely happy.

In the face of fairy tales, immunity always exists like silk pajamas. One second, he was sneering at the crappy foreplay with contempt, and the next second, he will be submissive and docile like Garfield who is full of milk. When the doctor looks out the window at the charismatic little nurses and whispers ridiculous diagnoses to himself, I'm sure he's trying to convince himself. But this senseless resistance just struggled in his heart for a little while and then disappeared without a trace, and then he was bewitched and captured by Don Juan's world. The game between the two has always been in a one-sided situation. If it weren't for the existence of too many "rational" fans in this world, I think the doctor would have fallen into the world of fairy tales and would rather never come out.

Aren't we in the same dimension in the same time and space, why do we see the world so differently?

When Don Juan modified his background to suit the "real" world, I began to doubt it again. What is the truth, and either of these two answers seems to be true. As we are often caught in the tangled situation of the dilemma, on the one hand is the magnificent fairy tale world that can bring pleasure, and on the other hand is the serious and more convincing real world, how to choose. I think if the movie stops here I might be stuck in this tangle for a long time, and will live longer in the regret of misjudgment. Because no matter what judgment I will make, I have to leave a world - serious and real or dreamy and beautiful. But fortunately, the protagonist gave a recommended choice later, which made me predictable.

On Love Island, that scene seems to be a scene in a dream. The doctor's casual words say that the Buddha is a situation that we can voluntarily control. How worried I was about a flashback at a certain point in time that a sudden twist would shatter such a beautiful scene and tell us that he was actually a psychopath and everything he said was false. But fortunately, there is no such cruel picture. When I saw their happiness, I knew how to choose.

Forgive me for writing so many incoherent words, if you read it, I believe you will still have a tacit understanding with me.

Don Juan DeMarco quotes

  • Don Juan: There are only four questions of value in life, Don Octavio. What is sacred? Of what is the spirit made? What is worth living for, and what is worth dying for? The answer to each is the same: only love.

  • Don Juan: By seeing beyond what is visible to the eye. Now there are those, of course, who do not share my perceptions, it's true. When I say that all my woman are dazzling beauties, they object. The nose of this one is too large; the-the hips of another, they are too wide; perhaps the breasts of a third, they are too small. But I see these women for how they truly are... glorious, radiant, spectacular, and perfect, because, I am not limited by my eyesight. Women react to me the way that they do, Don Octavio, because they sense that I search out the beauty that dwells within until it overwhelms everything else. And then they cannot avoid their desire, to release that beauty and envelope me in it. So, to answer your question, I see as clear as day that this great edifice in which we find ourselves is your villa. It is your home. And as for you, Don Octavio DeFlores, you are a great lover like myself, even though you may have lost your way and your accent. Shall I continue?
