my favourite.

I forgot when was the first time I saw this movie. I just remember thinking about it for a long time after watching it for the first time. I also forget how many times I have watched it so far, but every time I am happy or unhappy, this film is my greatest comfort.

I give one star to the heroine, Hilary Duff. I like her slightly chubby but healthy and positive look, and her unpretentious behavior. In the film, she is even more beautiful in Cinderella's dress at the dance.

I give one star to the male lead, Chad. One word, handsome. I still remember that after watching this film for the first time, I frantically searched for his photos on the Internet, especially because he watched many episodes of "Basketball Brothers".

I give one star to music. Every song is great to hear. It's really refreshing when it comes with the right plot.

I give one star to the plot. Although the Cinderella story has been filmed badly, every plot and scene of this film will not let me feel boring. The processing of a large number of details and the setting of foreshadowing also make people feel very ingenious. I also like the lines, such as the dialogue between Austin and Sam at the dance, and the line "waiting for you is like nectar in the dry season, meaningless and disappointing", it makes my nose sour every time.

I give one star to the subject. Be brave to be yourself. In addition, Carter and Sam have an enviable friendship, and Rhonda and the rest of the restaurant have a warm relationship with Sam.

    [Austin shakes his head]

[motions to Sam, sticking her hand out]

Shelby: Give it up for the pretend princess, Diner Girl, Sam Montgomery!

[the crowd laughs really loudly, and starts chanting "Diner girl!" and continues chanting. Austin looks at Sam, horrified that he found out the truth about Sam]

  • Young Sam: Do fairy tales come true, Dad?

Sam's Dad: Well, no. But dreams come true.

Young Sam: Do you have a dream?

Sam's Dad: Yeah. My dream is that you'll grow up and go to college, and then maybe someday you'll build your own castle.

Young Sam: Where do princesses go to college?

Sam's Dad: Uh, they go, uh where the princes go. They go to Princeton. But, Sam, you know, fairy tales aren't just about finding handsome princes. They're about fulfilling your dreams and about standing up for what you believe in.
