Philosophy is far away, weed is far away

After watching the movie, I seem to understand but I don't understand, and it's a bit messy if I don't clean it up. After searching everyone's reviews, I sorted out my thoughts on the movie.
Philosophy is far from us and God is far away from us to the educated masses, but what is marijuana is not far away after watching so many American movies. What happens to a person after smoking? It's better to use high to describe it!
I think my brother can be understood as a state of not smoking marijuana in real life, a rational, stable, step-by-step life, and he has achieved a lot. And the younger brother is the eager, emotional, passionate, and most primitive human emotion under the surface of every seemingly rational surface. Because of the cruelty of reality, we have to hide our emotional id deeply, but the more we suppress it, the more intense the outbreak will be. So the younger brother showed that the most primitive human nature, which has been suppressed for a long time, will evolve into such a radical side when it is not satisfied normally: blind pursuit of freedom, indulgence, sin, and even cruelty. That is, the high side after smoking marijuana. The younger brother still has a bright side, and in the face of his upcoming son, he chooses to be a good dad (even in the wrong way). This is the brightest aspect of human nature: emotion.
At the end of the movie, my brother was sitting in the rain with his girlfriend holding hands. Although the movie only explained that he put himself in the rain to face his fears, please don't forget the girlfriend who accompanied him by his side. The two of them will face more hardships in life together in the future, and there is nothing other than "emotion" that can support him and he will go on together!

Leaves of Grass quotes

  • Bill Kincaid: [Janet has just caught a monster catfish with her forearm through its mouth, called "noodling"] You have a spiritual objection to monofilament?

  • Brady Kincaid: [talking about Janet] She's a poet.

    Bill Kincaid: What?

Brady Kincaid: Seriously. She writes fuckin' poetry. And she's the Ladies Noodling Champion of '05.

    Bill Kincaid: Her?

Brady Kincaid: 125 pounds of catfish in under 10 hours with nothing but her bare hands.

    [sigh]

Brady Kincaid: I tried to get her and Colleen in a three-way once, but wouldn't neither of 'em go for it.
