God's cruelty--BLACK DEATH

This movie seems boring and full of killing belief worship... but I personally think it presents the madness of medieval Europe under the ravages of the Black Death! The Black Death shook the dominance of the church, and the people had more freedom. In a sense, knights who keep their faith are more cruel than witches! Under the ravages of the Black Death, people are suspicious of cruelty, madness and blood... The extreme behavior of all human beings... The witch fooled the people who worshiped her and enslaved them spiritually; the knight brought death to the unscathed by the plague for his beliefs The village also brought death... The villagers lived peacefully and safely under the rule of witches, there was no plague, no crazy killing and suspicion. Everyone has only one life. Under the circumstances at that time, living is the greatest happiness! This represents the people fighting for freedom of belief. In order to defend the monotheism of Christianity and maintain the dominance of Christianity, the knight not only brought death to the villagers; more terrifyingly, his killing ruined the innocence of a young priest and created a cruel religion like him. Executioner... Such barbarism is as harmful to mankind as the plague...

Mold: [Grasps Bel by her hair] I'm ugly and I am Christian. And that is not a good combination in here, hm? Piss off!

  • Osmund: Bring her back, I beg you bring her back!

Langiva: No, I can't. Pray to your god, see what he can do.
