After reading this, I remembered Brad Pitt's Autumn Legend, which is the same as Tristin but different from Tristin. Drusting is a real person, and everything he does is his true expression. Except for those inevitable, his life is his own choice, and he is more suffering. And Hannibal is not, Hannibal is forced, the outside world and himself have forced him to a dead end. "Eat or die..." But memory is a sharp blade, and he can choose to forget. The film somewhat overemphasizes the justification of Hannibal's killing, including the actions and unrepentance of those soldiers. So Hannibal did not choose to forget the past in pain, but chose revenge. But it's hard to say there's anything wrong with him doing that. Wouldn't everything have been different if I hadn't encountered the war and had not experienced a life like a nightmare? Hannibal was an ordinary child when he was playing with his younger sister, a competent brother, and then everything changed. Hannibal died and came back to life as a cold-blooded person. Is Hannibal a pervert, a psychopath, or just a normal change from being overly stimulated. In any case, after he recalled the truth, he really couldn't help himself, and his feelings for his aunt were irreversible. Once a person fell, it was difficult to turn back, and he could only fall deeper and deeper. "What do you use to love?" Finally The blocking is also a failure. Of course, Hannibal never thought about going back. In his heart, he had to do something difficult. After everything happened, what would he do to love. I think it's possible for Hannibal to be off track even without the nightmare experience, just maybe not so exaggeratedly crazy.
It feels like this movie is not as highly rated as before, mainly because he still tells the story around the first one, perfecting Silence of the Lambs.
I don't like Gong Li very much. I always feel that everyone she plays is similar, with a cold stubbornness and toughness. The movie may be to show some of the influence of my aunt on Hannibal, and of course the influence of her gentle care on Hannibal, but Gong Li's expression did not reflect it. Her feelings for Hannibal can only be seen in words and events.
The young Hannibal was not yet sophisticated enough to kill, nor was his criminal intelligence high enough. It feels like Hannibal's detailing is well done and this is just the beginning...
I think to watch this series of Hannibal, just watch Hannibal's rise, Silence of the Lambs and Silence of the Lambs 2, and it's enough to explain Hannibal completely.
