Faith drives madness

I saw this movie because I liked Michael Douglas and found it on Youku.
The film begins with daughter Miranda arriving at a mental hospital to pick up her father, Charlie. In the car on the way home, my father's words made people intuitively feel that he was still a lunatic.
After returning home, his father did not look for a job, which made Miranda very depressed. And her father also told her that she had found the gold left by Thomas in the 17th century, and was bent on digging for treasure.
Miranda didn't believe there would be any treasure at all, but because of her love for her father, she was helpless to help her father.
In the middle, my father sold the car that Miranda had worked so hard to earn because he had no money to pay the rent of the excavator. This made Miranda very sad. The next day, however, Miranda found out that her father had sold his favorite cello and records in exchange for her car. The true love between father and daughter is revealed.
In the end, Miranda helps her father get the keys to the supermarket and accompanies her father to dig for treasures. Unfortunately, the police came. Father stumbles upon Miranda and tells her that he will take care of everything. My father jumped into the underground river and never came out again. But after looking for the box left by her father according to the note her father left her, Miranda found that it was the treasure left by her father, and saw the Chinese by the beach, and at that moment she believed in her father's belief.
The most touching thing in the film is the father's dedication to the treasure of the treasure. In the eyes of others, the father's crazy behavior is completely incomprehensible. In the end, you will be moved by the father's persistence in belief, convinced by the courage to pay for the belief, and shed tears for the father's love for his daughter.
The greatest treasure left by a father to his daughter is his perseverance and mad pursuit of faith.
