Quite disappointed, not worthy of the Chinese title.

In the Chinese title "Guide to Survival of Graduates", the last four words are indeed contrary to the theme of the film.

Before watching this movie, I judged from the title that it should be an inspirational movie, and it may even make you feel the pain before you realize it. When I saw that the heroine Ryden didn't get the dream job, I guess it should be said that she finally realized her dream through all kinds of efforts. But the following episode kept me from feeling the passion and was ultimately disappointed.

The heroine eventually ditched her dream job and went to far-flung New York to follow her boyfriend. However, "survival" has become a problem for them at this time, especially when the Malbys are all in New York to reunite with Ryden. Of course, the off-topic Chinese title is to blame, because the original theme of the film is "it doesn't matter what you do, what matters is who you are with". However, if they want to be together, it seems that giving up going to New York is the least expensive option for the male protagonist.

Ryden quit his job because of love. But the love between the male and female protagonists does not seem to be so pure, because they cheated very easily.

There are also some plots in the film that I feel that I don't know what to say, and they don't contribute much to the development of the plot. For example, Ryden's grandma bought a coffin; another example was Ryden's father who was taken away by the police. The latter only seemed to pave the way for the passion for his family after his liberation, which only made him take his son's racing seriously, and did nothing to lose the main line.
