A few of them don't understand the plot. Stephen killed Ariana's father, and her father originally supported Maud, but Ariana's brother did not hesitate to find someone to replace Stephen's son as a hostage in order to get the previous title. Swap it to Maude for an illegitimate government. . . He also killed Maud's brother, which is a bit unreasonable to help the tyrants. . .
William obviously did bad things, but as long as the bishop said "pardon", his conscience can be justified. These seem incomprehensible, and the bishop's rights have reached an uncontrollable level, and he can exchange the right of pardon for other things. . . At the end, I finally understood, in fact, Bishop and Jack do not believe in the existence of God, right? The ignorant populace is always the object of manipulation!
The pacing of the whole film is good, but the ending seems a little rushed.
PS: I remember that the monk who adopted Tom's youngest son was killed by William in one episode? Why did it appear later? Did I remember wrong?
