This is indeed a movie worth remembering, the kind of quietness, beauty, mistakes, love, cheating, and the emotions of the characters that used to be on the Great Plains are always entangled in the complicated hearts and entangle the audience.
The film is written and directed by Gulemo Arega, a well-known screenwriter who was nominated for both the Oscar and the Golden Globe Award for Best Screenplay for "Tower of Babel". Indeed, it is very characteristic of Guillermo Arriga.
When I first watched the film, I thought it would be similar to the multi-player group play of "Babel Tower", but after watching it, I realized that the whole film is actually a coherent story, but the director used the parallel method of time and space to explain the difference. Talking about the time interruption on a single timeline is similar to the film "Life Before You". The seemingly messy plot finally formed a very reasonable story, very cruel youth, very sincere repentance. . (If you haven't seen the entire movie, you must not understand it).
The story of the film is very dramatic and I like it very much. It describes the relationship between two or even three generations. The main line is of course Mariana. The girl's innocent love is compared to her mother's extramarital affair, her strong self-esteem and love for her mother. Burning herself and burning her mother ended up being a big mistake. She couldn't get rid of this sin. . . Later, the appearance of her daughter brought her new hope. . . A faint smile outside the ward told the audience a bright future that began to burn. . . . . .
It's a story about the growth of a girl to a woman, but Mariana paid a heavy price to realize all this, and "love" was re-inspired after being extinguished~~~~
At the end, the electric guitar played for many years of vicissitudes, I'm also looking forward to the future, the music is very good, I love it! ! ! !
The burning plain, the burning youth, the burning love, the burning family affection, and the burning humanity~~
Then, Theron's performance is very expressive, and the eyes of despair and hope are very exciting to the audience.
