comedy in the sun

Another movie with high expectations and inevitably disappointing after watching it. Ashton and Katherine had high praise for the film. Ashton even boasted that at the premiere, he would secretly shoot 15 minutes and put it on Facebook to show the audience: this is definitely a good movie. Decided to catch the eye.
However, the fact is also true, the first part of the movie can really grab people's appetite. In the picturesque background, the handsome male protagonist is matched with the "stupid" female protagonist, and there is a bit of suspense, all of which make up the factors of a good movie. I was getting ready to enjoy this film, and when I felt that I had waited so long and felt that it was a worthwhile trip, the plot took a sharp turn.
I always feel that when three years later came out, this film began to go downhill. At least, I personally think that after Ashton said no to his boss, this film can no longer attract me.
Fortunately, Ashton's sexy voice is never tire of hearing it.
Said so many negative colors, it is estimated that it is because of the psychological gap. Thinking about it carefully, there are still bright spots in the film. First of all, the O'Henry-style ending really hit me. In other words, the plot is novel. Also, Katherine's acting skills are exaggerated and funny. Contrary to her image in Grey's Anatomy, she is more like her true character. The cute performance definitely adds a lot to this film. The last thing I have to mention is that the cold humor in this film is gone. Until the last scene of the film, the director is still doing everything to make you laugh.
Random comments, in a word, if Killers is released in theaters, I will not regret buying a ticket to see this film.

Killers quotes

  • Mrs. Kornfeldt: Excuse me, Stewardess? Three chardonnays, please.

Mr. Kornfeldt: None for me, actually. I like to stay awake and alert.

Jen Kornfeldt: None for me, either.

Mrs. Kornfeldt: Okay, so, just the three chardonnays then.

  • Spencer Aimes: We've been married for three years and we've never been more than five minutes away from your parents. They're always coming over and your dad's all... all... Well, uh, this is how the Kornfeldt's load the dishwasher. And, mow the lawn clockwise 'cause that's the Kornfeldt way. Take this piece of coal, stick it up your kiester, squeeze it real tight like we do, and you'll and make a Kornfeldt diamond.
