To meet the hunger of life naked like this

Late at night, shirtless with life's hunger because of this film,

based on The last six weeks of the life of the Irish republican hunger striker Bobby Sands.

A shocking history where the

body is their last weapon.

There is no freedom without courage.

Yes, I have seen many manifestations of the emptiness of life, the absurdity in various movies, the cynicism in the real world we live in,

but this kind of epic martyrdom and struggle really hits my heart.

I started watching the movie after I understood the historical background more carefully

. Almost the only dialogue in the movie is the mirror-like dialogue between Bobby and the priest face to face.

This awesome long shot repeatedly reminded me of what is indispensable to life.

When I saw the changes in his body, I felt so calm. Really, if a person understands the meaning of his life like this, then he can live any kind of life willingly.

It's very good, it's a kind of calm shock, and the eyes are even bigger after reading it. "Thousands of Mountains and Birds Fly" This is a portrayal of himself before he is in a desperate situation, but people will not disappear without a trace.

A legged genitalia and maggots watching while eating! The sharp knife-like lens is definitely one of the most shocking movies I've seen recently. I can't comment without understanding the political background of the Northern Ireland Communist Party.

Hunger quotes

  • Father Dominic Moran: [offering Sands a cigarette] Bit of a break from smokin' the Bible, eh?

    Bobby Sands: [agrees]

Father Dominic Moran: Anyone work out which book is the best smoke?

Bobby Sands: We only smoke the Lamentations. A right miserable cigarette.

  • Bobby Sands: I have my belief, and in all its simplicity that is the most powerful thing.
