The highlight of the film is of course Lewis' performance. I don't know what such a patient looks like, but I do know that such a performance is tiring, and the character does look like a disabled person.
Another highlight is the role of the mother, her performance is very touching.
I don't know if this is a real thing, if so, the male lead is really admirable.
Irish movies are a country with a unique style.
