When seeing everyone's witty comments, does anyone remember the theme that was first mentioned after watching the film: the principle of equality speaks of the responsibilities of true citizens of the earth.

When people think that not eating meat is conscientiousness, the responsibility is far from it, it should be the responsibility of human beings to deal with material, not just species.

Just like when we abuse and accuse others of eating animals, we can't help but show discrimination against others. Does that person also consider protecting human beings while protecting animals? Don't compare human beings to beasts. When you encounter beasts, you may still cherish the beauty of human beings, right?

Who said that the first point of being a true citizen of the earth should not come from love?

When people think that if we all come together to use less electricity and protect the environment, disasters can be stopped. Looking back and starting to calculate their careers, how many people think about how much this has to do with the environment? How much relationship do you have with others?

Who said that the first point of being a true citizen of the earth should not come from love?

When people participate in public welfare activities as citizens, they cannot let go of their selfishness and rights. Do people take into account their exaggeration of their own responsibilities in exchange for more human experience, rather than respect for love, is it not because of love that coordinating and working together?

Citizens of the Earth, like the Buddhist aspirations, are hindered by reality.

Earthlings quotes

  • [first lines]

title card: earth-ling n. - One who inhabits the earth.

Narrator: Since we all inhabit the earth, we are all considered earthlings. There is no sexism, racism, or speciesism in the term 'earthling'. It encompasses each and every one of us: warm- or cold-blooded, mammal, vertebrate or invertebrate, bird, reptile, amphibian, fish and human alike.

  • Narrator: It is the human earthling who tends to dominate the earth, oftentimes treating other fellow earthlings and living beings as mere objects. This is what is meant by 'speciesism'. By analogy with racism and sexism, speciesism is a prejudice or attitude or bias in favor of the interests of the members of one's own species and against those of members of other species.
