Sunshine cleaning and moving forward

It is a small movie with a very simple story. It takes one and a half hours to pass the boring time and get moved by the way.

It is about the two sisters who saw their mother cut their wrists when they were young, and who lacked a sense of security and maternal love, they depended on their father for life. The older sister is a single mother and has an affair with a married man. In order to make money, the two sisters endured nausea and filth and started cleaning on the spot. But he lost his job in an accident. The older sister breaks up with the man, the dad helps the older sister continue cleaning, and the younger sister embarks on a road trip alone. Happy ending, no surprises.

What I want to say is the music here. Sometimes low-pitched, sometimes sonorously powerful, sometimes rhythmically clear, it is full of hope and joy. Clear blue sky, big white clouds, and pretty faces give people a sense of color in this gloomy October.

The details I like are that when my sister saw a movie with only one line played by her mother on TV on Channel 65, she immediately called her sister. The sisters saw the beautiful mother in front of their respective TVs and burst into tears.

All is over, and a new life is ahead. Let this innocent and refreshing sunshine wash away all the unpleasant memories of the past, and move forward strongly towards a new life and ideal.

These days I've been wrestling with an accident that I've learned about occasionally, and I think God is always playing us some kind of catastrophe joke. Some people give up their lives so easily, while others languish in order to live a good life. We should all live well, for the sake of each other who has always been by our side.

It's very touching, but the lines are too much and too loose. But this job reminds me of the undertaker. . . And, a little bit of logic, to that kid. . . .

Sunshine Cleaning quotes

  • Rose Lorkowski: [explaining her job] I mean because people don't realize the safety risks involved with the removal of - blood and body fluids.

Heather: I cannot imagine. You like it?

Rose Lorkowski: [bravely] Yeah. I do. Um, we come into people's lives when they have experienced something profound - and sad. And they've lost somebody, you know? And um, the circumstances, they're always different. But that's the same. And we help. In some small way we, um, we help.

  • Joe Lorkowski: It's a business lie, it's different from a life lie.
