The elements of the film, how should I put it, are very "diverse" - I thought it was a love story at first, but in the middle I thought the theme was a reflection on family affection, but I didn't know until the last two minutes that it turned out to be 9.11.
Of course, directors and screenwriters may have their own reasons, such as: every victim of the 9.11 incident has an ordinary life, and this method can touch people's hearts, and so on. But with such a light-hearted film under a heavy theme, I just felt caught off guard.
In addition to the "jumping" development of the plot, for me, who is used to the perfect role of the vampire Edward, Robert's decadent image in this film is also temporarily unacceptable. This kind of challenge is also a challenge for how to look at the Twilight series in the future.
