The story is based on real events, Jim Carrey plays Steven Russell, a father jailed for fraud who falls in love with prison Friends Phillip Morris, out of love for Morris, he attempted to escape four times, and finally, Morris was released from prison, while Russell was sentenced to 144 years in prison for deviance.
Lies are the passport of liars, and confessions are the epitaphs of honest ones. If life is full of lies, people become disinterested in the truth, and love becomes an embarrassing topic. It needs a constant pile of material desires and sweet words. Believe in true love, so the sentence I love you becomes a trap, making the old people jump into it foolishly. Life goes on, and the lies continue to escalate. Their lives start with a lie, and they are destined to be inseparable from the lie all their lives.
