Without overemphasizing on the conspiracy and scheming or finger-pointing, more perspectives that shape how the Iraq war was perceived were shown when the story slowly unfolds.
Green Zone is not the typical Hollywood thriller - it made its points, it was cleverly shot (the cinematography and editing are tight and neat). The ending was particularly terrific when the translator got the general killed and said "It's not up to you to decide what happens here!" - which had the message pinned down.
Though it might not be the most intense war story, Green Zone is definitely intriguing and worth seeing.
