, it was still pitch black outside. Through the white pleated gauze, I could vaguely feel the faint sound that penetrated. The car whizzed past.
At this time, there should be very few pedestrians on the road. should be.
Can't sleep. Only covered with a quilt, waiting for the dawn.
Avoid repeating cecilia's pale, immature, expressionless, persistent face in her mind. It is wearing a white one-piece floor-length nightdress, standing in the bedroom with a blank face, or lying on the tree next door in a weird posture, just looking at you so coldly. Without any emotion. Enough to break a cold sweat. As the film's first voiceover, cecilia was the first to go.

I admit that this thing is called fear.

This is Sofia Coppola's film debut, titled Virgin Suicide, and it seems that some people will have such doubts after watching it.
At least the superficial I have this kind of puzzled feeling. After the homecoming dance, the second child Lux and the man of the school baseball team, Trip, were young and energetic, letting the hormones secreted in the body frantically vent, and they were so big in school. The playground was happy until the next morning, when Lux found himself lying alone on the grass, but the trip had disappeared.
Since then, tragedies have been staged one after another.

I remember last year, but it was only this time.
Coppola still influences my movie watching life in her way.
Death of the Virgin is her first collaboration with kirsten dunst. Not sure why Coppola chose kiki for this role, but dunst's eyes are what I love.
She just looks at you so innocently, it will make people feel that she has tried her best to be provocative, and I am afraid that men can't resist.
She is far from being a good girl next door, a young girl, and the deep dimple on one side of her cheek will always attract your attention at the right time, making you mistakenly think that she is a sweet and innocent little angel. But the evil ruthlessness and the scheming that only adults can show from time to time send chills down one's back, like a burst of cold arrows stabbing one's heart.
It's reminiscent of the character she played years ago. Yes, you should know. Needless to say here.

A few years later, Sofia recruited dunst again to play Marie Antoinette, the beheading queen in French history.
Even though the film has been criticized by most historians, the gorgeous and huge shooting scenes, exquisite and complicated costumes and various props of the film have restored the era in Sofia's heart to the audience. I have always been fond of court dramas. Just seeing the more tired and taller hair accessories is very interesting. I don't know if Queen Mary's hair is tall and straight, or the Duchess's is slightly higher.

Sofia Coppola's most impressive work is "lost in translation" co-starring Scarlett Johansson and Bill Murray.
I don't remember exactly when I saw this movie.
A friend of mine said it was just another boring movie.
I neither deny nor admit it.
But I also never hide my love for such films. The subtle connection between people during the journey, a kind of fit under alienation in a prosperous foreign land.
The music of the film is particularly excellent, the thin voice, always ethereal and intertwined with the accompaniment of fiery electronic musical instruments, can make people think quietly.
The director's grasp of the film's soundtrack is very unique, just as we can hear the slightly out of place rock music in "The Peerless Lady", which is refreshing, but there is no sense of abruptness at all.

The image tone of this film and the subsequent Lost in Translation have a similar feeling in the spiritual core.
With the elegant temperament and dreamy touch unique to female directors, the shaking lens and the blurred picture always bring the audience an unreal feeling.
The film is always shrouded in yellowish sunlight, but from time to time it makes the audience feel the panic and despair in the characters' hearts.

I don't know if this is a youth-themed film, although it is equated with such heavy words as juvenile suicide.
This film is not enough to start thinking about the delicate and complex relationship between parents and children.
In the film, the stern mother, who is stern and wary, and the father, who is serious and cautious, is actually a little nervous. The initial care of their five daughters is evident in the suicide of the younger daughter. Later, in order to relieve the depression of their young daughter, they learned to hold a reception at home to entertain the little boys around. But before the first dance was over, the youngest daughter jumped from her own building and died.
After that, because Lux didn't return one night, their mother banned them from going out and burned all Lux's records. The four girls just stay in the house every day and can't go anywhere. The double captivity of body and mind.

The last scene where the four girls commit suicide collectively is very obscure.
But I have never been able to understand the real reason for their suicide.
This may be something that a person who will never choose to end his life by suicide can never understand it for the rest of his life.

PS: On the red carpet of the closing ceremony of Cannes this year, Kiki appeared in a long lake blue dress. Maybe it has been a long time since I hadn’t seen it. I suddenly realized that although the dimples when smiling are still sweet, the folds at the corners of the eyes can’t help but make people feel that the beauty is always beautiful. There is a late day. But according to reports, kiki has already started preparing for her own movie, hoping to see her new work as soon as possible, and let more people notice kiki's other specialties besides actors. Haha, I was looking at her street shoot one day, and I felt more and more that Kiki was the representative of granny style, shaking hands to salute. I think at the beginning, it was from kiki that I came into contact with European and American street photography, but in recent years, as the frequency of kiki’s appearance on the street has decreased and there are few good works, the paparazzi have paid more and more attention to her, but I love her. Never weaken, little dimple, love you. come on! Come on.
