I'm not very articulate, I've never had a debate, and I don't really understand the mystery. And that's why I admire people who speak eloquently. Like the four debaters in the movie. Their impassioned speeches are captivating, and their charisma radiates when they defend their arguments. The one that impressed me the most was Henry. His unyielding and sharp character seems to have been carefully prepared for this debate. But these are all appearances. What makes them really strong is not the simple data collection, the high-pitched voice, the rich expressions, nor the personal character, but the brave heart they have acquired through their growth. It's just that it can't be said to be the ultimate weapon, and that it can shine in the crowd if you dare to say it. Blacks, as the teacher mentioned, are a cheerful and intelligent race. Personally, I believe that these qualities do not come from innateness, but their strong hearts have been tempered by historical experiences. This group of young debaters went from just listening to the teacher about the various hardships that black people suffered, including Ling Chi, to seeing it with their own eyes, feeling uneasy, fearful, and then cheering up again. The actor director naturally and skillfully arranged such a step-by-step process, allowing the audience to experience their spiritual growth. The result directly affects the way they debate. In the past, they could not do without the manuscripts of their mentors. In the end, they were able to shout out their own voices and understand human nature even when they were out of the manuscripts.
Who is the judge? The judge is god.
Why is the god? Because he decides who wins or loses, not my opponent.
Who is your opponent? He doesn't exist!
Why does he not exist? Because he is merely a dissenting voice to the truth i speak!
Speak the truth!!
The scene of practicing this classic line with a foreign object in his mouth does not just represent their courage to speak up despite the many obstacles ?
