On the night of the full moon, the wolf nature cannot be suppressed

During this time, the desire to watch movies is very strong, and I always want to watch some wonderful movies. It happened that in the evening, it was just me, the manager of the horse factory, ZACH and Xiao Wang. Just chatting about the movie, ZACH actually likes Zhang Yimou's hero, he thinks the scenes and pictures are very good, and of course he was unanimously criticized by everyone, but he also explained later, in fact, for an American like him, he likes to watch it. There are some Chinese costume films with strong Chinese elements and uncomplicated plots that are easy to understand, so Zhang Yimou's films are perfect in their minds. Because they can talk to people and say, ah, I recently watched a movie about ancient China...and then come up with a theory of war and peace, that's a cool thing. Haha, Zhang Yimou will be angry when he hears it, but he should know in his heart, we all know that this is a fact. Zhang Yimou is a master of scenes and pictures, but a dwarf who tells stories, and the weakest is chivalrous spirit. But having said that, artists who came out of the Chinese education system lacked this kind of humanistic temperament.

Recently, I always have the urge to talk. I always want to add something to my blog, so I just borrowed a movie to vent it. After I finished eating the dumplings and the beer, I went back to my room and picked up a random movie to start watching, "The Werewolf", which is suitable for watching at night.

In fact, the plots of such movies are all the same. A person is bitten by a werewolf, becoming a werewolf who loses his wildness and becomes unacceptable to the crowd, and begins to be chased and killed. There are two points that are more obvious:

1. Blood

The werewolf who bit him and framed him was his father. If you watch similar movies carefully, whether it’s a vampire or a werewolf legend, blood ties will be involved in the plot, hundreds of thousands of years in the distance. this set. Because everyone knows that blood is the most unreasonable and unreasonable thing for people to give up. Once love and hate and blood conflict, they cannot be reconciled. Art is the concentration of the contradictions in life. However, it seems that the wolves cannot be passed on through normal reproduction, otherwise, they would not have to suffer that bite during the Laurentian period, and the bloodthirsty nature of the wolves has been well explained, because it turns out that this is their only way of reproduction. But the foreshadowing of the film was buried very well, and it was not revealed until the film, which made people suddenly, ah, it turns out that his mother and brother died like this, the real villain is the white-bearded old man. The guilt instantly eased. Everyone forgets that the male protagonist is also a murderer, and the white-bearded old man, like the male protagonist, is a pitiful worm who can't help himself. In fact, everyone should remember that the root of the real bad is the little wild boy in the Indian cave... Obviously the prequel has a foundation, and it can be shot again next time. The sequel, as everyone has already guessed, is the heroic inspector.

2. love

After arriving in the film, the conflict of blood has been qualitative, and it can only be solved by life and death, and perishing together is the only way out. But what about love...? We will not discuss the relationship between brothers and sisters. We Chinese don't like this very much, so let's put it aside. What about the flirting love between Gwen and Lawrence? I sometimes don't understand, how did they spark off because of Lawrence's play? Or is it because of the wolf nature that radiates after being bitten? (This is the origin of the satyr?) Or the appearance of the hero? The last one I think can be ignored. The male protagonist is not flattering. Maybe everyone thinks that playing a werewolf should be rough, and a vampire should be gentle. In short, love always comes for no reason in dozens of minutes of movies, and it can only be classified as love at first sight. I thought the ending of the film should be: Lawrence defeats his father, and then Gwen defeats the wolf in love and the two enter a new life together, and I also know that this ending is a bit vulgar. Fortunately, the director did not entangle too much on this plot. Although there seemed to be a hint of hesitation in the werewolf's eyes, the gunshots behind did not let the plot continue to slide down Aunt Qiongyao's template, but let Gwen's The bullet shot through Lawrence's chest, and then returned to human form and died tragically in the arms of his lover. Obviously, this plot is much stronger than mine. However, I always thought werewolves were invulnerable and had to be killed with a silver bullet in some religious form.

The other things, just a little off topic, is the inspector, I really like him, he is honest, dedicated and always makes the right judgments. But a character like him can't be on the stage in most European and American movies, and often the plot is synonymous with stupidity and trouble. In this film, too, he can't solve the problem. nasty character. I have thought about why, I think it is because the mainstream culture in Europe and the United States is always on the opposite side of criticizing the government. They are not used to and have not praised the tradition of public officials. In their eyes, dedication of public officials is what they should do. And discovering their shortcomings is the only right thing that ordinary people should do. Movies praising the government won't sell unless they're labeled liberation, freedom and democracy, and then it makes sense to put them in a foreign war movie. Internally, if you don't throw eggs, you look up to him, so he's exhausted. It is reasonable to wait for his tragic fate to be bitten at the end of his life. You don't have to feel sorry for him. Who made him a servant of the people and the people?
