[About suspense]
cassandra's dream, no gimmicks, no suspense, no entangled right and wrong. The lens is precise, the lines are clean, and it is done in one go, like ink and wash, without a single word of nonsense. The first shot of the opening chapter leads to cassandra's dream; the first voyage outlines the brotherhood and the ending with the lines of bonnie & clyde (it can be seen that the director has no intention of creating suspense from the beginning); a few words at the dinner table summarize the characters of the brothers and lead to tragedy The central character, uncle howard...Such a beautiful, concise and unintentional narration makes people seem to be eating mint-flavored candy, plain but fresh.
Small but complete. Don't talk about woody allen, the movie itself is a superb sketch with rough lines but well-made. One point is full, one point is missing. This kind of reason is cruel, it can't hurt your heart, but it can please your brain.
【About the actors】
EWAN and COLIN contributed convincing high-quality performances to the film, as always. But the communication between brothers is still somewhat simple. The older brother's mental activities are poorly described. Personally, I don't think the heroine is charming enough. I can only feel her "charming" from her brother's comments on her.
Watch movies with a calm mind, don't always sit down and expect to be shocked as soon as you sit down, so you can enjoy the fun and thinking. When you have a goal in front of you, do you cross your bottom line for it?
