I don't know how to describe this story, but the most sincere feelings touched me. It seems to be a pure and true heart that no matter how old you are.
I believe in the existence of this story, and I believe that an old lady over sixty years old can fall in love with such a healthy and sunny young man, just because she fell in love with him, just as she will fall in love with him at the age of eighteen.
Her love came too late. Before he appeared, she was carefree. She had been accompanied by her sister for 60 years in her life. No one had touched her warm heart. naive. Yes, when she sat on the bedside berating herself for being stupid, her sister said she was just too naive. She is the happiest, even the happiest. When you see her secretly writing small notes in English, picking up the boy's hair and saving it, you realize that she is just a little girl. The long white hair and wrinkled cheeks still couldn't stop her belated youth, leaving a blushing moment on her face.
This is the fourth film I've seen Judi Dench acted in. She seems to always appear in the image of an old lady who is dependent on her sister, and her eyes often reveal a kind of innocence. It's as if she would say "tonight we will have chicken for supper" as "Puppy dog for supper".
It's a great film with a lot of memorable scenes. When Andrea left, Usula curled up on the bed where Andrea once slept, the moonlight fell, and the curtains blew with the breeze to accompany her to sleep; and her memory at the concert scene, she remembered herself walking on the beach with the teenager , the young man picked up the shells and gave them to her; they were sitting on the rocks by the sparkling seaside, the young man leaned his head on her lap, and she shyly and hesitantly stroked the young man's hair with her hands. She loves him, so she loves his hair, staring intently when he cuts it; standing alone on the observation deck by the sea after the boy leaves, spreading her palms and letting the sea breeze take away the stroke of hair. It's all beautiful, and it's something every girl in love does.
So, I wrote this article, even as a gift to the girl who has been waiting for love at the beach for 60 years. Love came too late, but it still came. After that, I felt sad, because love brought too much sweetness when it came.
