true romance

I often shy away from watching French movies and life films. The movies never seem to end. In the movies, French people are always chattering about whether they want to show themselves or hide their true self through words. However, because I have studied French for a period of time, I will still find some French. Judging from the film, I occasionally hear a few familiar words or short sentences in the chatter, and I can't help but smile.

People often mention Paris and always think that it is a fashionable and romantic capital. Paris is indeed like this, in the eyes of passers-by. .But I always don't think so. After watching paris, it is like listening to lazy JAZZ, there is still a kind of slowness and some faint sadness, the movie sees the reality of Paris through the window of PIERRE . The locals I have been in contact with are the same as in the movie paris, so real, going through illness, going through a mid-life crisis, going through love and being loved... This can be called a real romance. Look at it, I always think this is an excellent documentary. It records the real Paris in a glossy package.

I can't help thinking that if some day a director can direct a play about some first-tier cities in China, it is also a good thing to be able to do so. Fortunately, my memories came to Beijing like this. I think some outsiders and even foreigners may be interested in their lives in those small hutongs hidden in the busy city, those people playing chess on the street, and those old doors.

Paris quotes

  • Élise: [in French] You're all alone here? What do you do all day?

Pierre: [in French] Watch other people live. Wonder who they are, where they go? They become hereoes in my little stories.

  • Pierre: [discussing his nieces and nephew] We've gotta be honest and say I'm gonna croak.

    Élise: That's not certain.

Pierre: Then it'll be a nice surprise, if it's not true.
