surprising directorial debut

The way the story is told is a little weird, but it doesn't drag on at all, and every scene you have to stop and look at feels flawless.

For the 16 years of George and Jim, I have to sigh, in an era when even marriage is difficult to keep fresh, it is possible to keep the two men so fresh, and the conversation between Jim and Geo before going to Denver can make people envious. 16 years There is still such a dripping dialogue between them, and only one strong word can describe it.

George looked at the world with a mortal heart, to remember and miss. But most of the time, it can't compare to those things in the deepest part of human nature, still curious and still shouting for what they believe. Who would have thought that he was someone who was going to end his own life.

But some people have noticed that Kenny probably knows what he wants to do, inspires his fighting spirit, and puts away the gun he intends to end his life. But nothing compares to the footsteps of death, irresistible, no matter how you plan.

When Jim in a black suit kissed George who was unconscious by the bed, I suddenly felt a little joy for him, maybe this is the best Ending, maybe Geo can continue their life with his beloved Jim Planning, or moving to London, or continuing to have your own adorable puppy. . .

I seriously recommend this movie! It can be said that it is the best one I have felt this year. . .

A lot of times you don't need to say I love you, a tacit understanding is enough. Cross finger for Geo & Jim, for me also

How can there be such a good movie.

Even the fear of hiding in the outside world is still dominated by loneliness. And single men reflect the absurd symptoms of Cold War psychopaths. The imagery is exquisitely crafted and impeccable. Uncle Colin's dance with Moore and the seaside frolic with Holt made the best reverse lyric. The whole film also focuses on feeling rather than thinking. Moore's twisted brows in the vanity mirror echo the rounded buttocks in Nocturnal Animals. Please TF stick to such formal aesthetics.

A Single Man quotes

  • George: The bathroom's just down the hall, if you'd like to take a shower.

Kenny: Aren't you taking a shower too, Sir?

George: Oh, I'm fine, I'm English, we like to be cold and wet.

  • George: If one is not enjoying one's present, there isn't a great deal to suggest that the future should be any better.
