Thinking of how it felt to watch the last episode of QAF, I thought I would be sad and regretful, but more of a relief because I believe that no matter how far apart BJ is, they love each other deeply, and I also believe that they will eventually come together. Perhaps the confidence in their love comes from the determination and bravery that each of them interprets to life. Yes, brave, it can be said that everyone in QAF is brave, secular prejudice, social pressure, straight people's misunderstanding, it seems that they don't care, they know exactly what they want, no Hypocritical, not pretentious, no need to cover up, straight to the subject, as if they can shout out who gives a shit for everything they disdain. No matter how far the society develops, the injustice to queers will always exist. Since this society cannot guarantee where their future will go, why should they care about those ridiculous distractions, they are only themselves, in alcohol and Under the catalysis of psychedelic lights, the indulgence and freedom that belong to the queer are exclusively enjoyed.
The bravery I'm talking about is embodied in Brian. I have to say that he is really a strong man. Maybe the word bravery is a bit vulgar to describe him, because you don't have to listen to him say anything he doesn't want to say, you don't have to Watching him do anything he doesn't want to do, he only cares about his inner feelings. It seems that the one who can affect him is his beloved little J. For such a man, he lives more real than those straight people who are false and conceited.
At the beginning, QAF really didn't feel much about Xiao J, and even felt a little impatient with him pestering Brian all day long, but the more I looked back, the more I liked Xiao J, yes, it was Xiao J's bravery that made me fall in love with him. Whether it's picking up the art he loves again after an injury or persevering in the pursuit of Brian, I see that confidence in him. And Brian's influence on him also directly changed some of his outlook on life and values. Perhaps it was these influences that finally made Xiao J understand what he wanted to pursue, so he left Brian with the dream of a young artist and His love for Brian.
Like these characters, maybe what they have is what they lack. A QAF, in some ways, does affect my view of some things, and it also makes me say to myself when I am weak: Be yourself and as brave as them.
