Worry about growing up

I watched a movie with my ex-boyfriend.
At the end of the movie, we all sighed together: "It's gone like this?"
It seems that the story of the Little Mermaid is too deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.
Will Sousuke and PONYO still be together when they grow up? I think anyone who has seen this movie will have that concern.
When I grow up, my horizons are broadened, and there are many things that are disturbing, will I still stick to my original decision?
When you are worried about them, you are also worried about yourself.

I don't know if I expect too much from Hayao Miyazaki, this is a pretentious story

The character modeling is similar to many previous movies, and you can still find the dragon sets in the previous movies... The story is actually a toddler version of The Little Mermaid... But it's very beautiful...

Ponyo quotes

  • Fujimoto: Respect your father!

  • Fujimoto: You must promise me something. You will never go back to the surface, yes?

[He offers Ponyo a piece of food on a toothpick]

Fujimoto: Come on, now. Eat, Brunhilde.

    Ponyo: I want ham!

[She defiantly blows away the food]

Fujimoto: Ham? You ate the food! What else did you do? Did you taste blood, Brunhilde?

Ponyo: My name is not Brunhilde. It's Ponyo.

    Fujimoto: Ponyo?

Ponyo: Ponyo! Ponyo loves Sosuke! I will be a human too!

Fujimoto: Human? What do you know about humans, Brunhilde? They spoil the sea. They treat your home like their empty black souls.
