Memories of love and rivers and lakes in the 1970s

The first time I saw this film was in 1990, when I was still in junior high school in a small city, I would go to the video room to watch a few movies every weekend. At that time, the Hong Kong film industry was in full swing. It's a Hong Kong film, the subject matter is nothing more than gun battles, casinos, ghosts, etc. Most of them are bad. But after watching that afternoon, I knew that I had seen a good film, although the subject matter was not enough. It jumped out of the rivers and lakes, but it was delicate enough to make it different.
Later, I watched it a lot, and I gradually learned that its director was Wong Kar-wai, the photographer was Liu Weiqiang, and the artist was Zhang Shuping...

Here is a 27-year-old at the time . Andy Lau, 27-year-old Jacky Cheung, and 24-year-old Maggie Cheung. At that time, Andy Lau was accustomed to pretending to be cool, but under the training of Wong Kar Wai, his performance was still natural and not so public. But there is also so much desolation and helplessness.
Jacky Cheung starred in his true colors. The little gangster, the fly, is the best role I have ever seen.
The cousin played by Maggie Cheung is young, simple and weak, especially in the last scene. The scene of taking Andy Lau on the bus at the station, when the car drove away, she stood on the corner and turned her head back to tears, it was really heartbreaking to watch.

The best part of the film is the scene where Ah Hua and her cousin are in the room at the beginning , a small room with only two people, but different positions, different lights and shots, different dialogues and plot conflicts make you feel very delicate.

In addition, there are some classic lines, I will share them with

you If you say you won't feel guilty, you will definitely feel it in your heart.

Q: Why did you come to me now? A: Because I know what kind of person I am, I can't promise you anything. If I don't think about you all the time, I will I won't come to you.

People like us don't have a tomorrow, do they? I

also want to mention that the soundtrack of this film is all the work of Wang Jie, and the tragic Wang Jie and the tragic soundtrack match this tragic movie. It is seamless.

A good movie will never be out of date. This movie carries the memories of the youth and passion of people in the 1970s in that era. It will also accompany me to grow old.

As Tears Go By quotes

  • Wah: People like us don't have tomorrows

  • Wah: I did a lot of things for our godfather too. By the age of 14, I was already getting paid to kill. I've got more guts than most guys, right? But look at me now. I'm just an ordinary guy!

Fly: At least you were a hotshot for a while! But what about me? What about me? Everyone looks down on me. Does that make you happy? People think I'm nothing, like some stray dog just following you around! Did you know that? I'd rather be a hero for one day than go on being a fly all my life!
