me, you and cloud

Before I watched the movie, I deeply liked its two translations, "Silk Love" and "Foreign Journey". These are the most perfect homophonic translations I have ever seen. Unexpectedly, it was precisely this moving translation that disappointed me a little. I thought it would tell a heart-pounding love story between a man and a woman in a different place, but I didn't know that the hero's wife was the core of the movie.

Although the male protagonist always makes me feel weird (not judged by appearance), the beauty of the whole movie is silently attracting me and shocking me. The most fundamental reason should be its narration. I especially like movies with narration, maybe because of my obsession with "Evil in the East". The second is the scene of the movie. Those mountains, rivers and rivers are like a dream, like a fantasy, like a crazy person. The third is the deep love a wife has for her husband—smiles in love, tears in love, fake letters, and dying promises. The fourth is the twinkling affection between the male protagonist and the Japanese woman.

For the vast majority of men, the women who are not available are always the best, and the farthest scenery is the unchanging tie in the dream. When tears of remorse rolled down his cheeks, he realized that in fact the most beautiful scenery lingered around him, and melted into the most ordinary, plain, and calm earthly life.

I think of Gu Cheng's poem - "Far and Near": You, /Look at me for a while, /Look at the clouds for a while. /I think, /When you look at me far away, when you look at the cloud it is very close.

Let us all remember: what we ignore and ignore is often the most beautiful scenery.

    Hervé Joncour: It's your garden.

    Hélène Joncour: It's my garden?

Hervé Joncour: Well, not quite. Not yet. For now, it's a plot of land. Our land. And the house is also ours. This is where we'll grow old Helene.

Hélène Joncour: But I don't understand...

Hervé Joncour: The eggs have hatched, they're perfect. This year's production will be huge, and Baldabiou has already paid us our share. We're rich, Helene. We're very very rich!

Hélène Joncour: [Awestruck] And this for such tiny eggs...
