Just straight up cheating

In fact, the plot of this novel is really not very good. It is nothing more than to say that after a woman has basically completed her mission for the family, even after middle age, a very romantic love can still happen; or it can be regarded as the legend of this woman in the first half of her life. She met the handsome Kiwi, and the relationship between the two continued to grow. If the heroine's reckless personality was used, it would actually happen. But she wanted to pull her husband and friends into the water, and set up a crime of derailment first, and then she and him "naturally" ignited the fire of love. Does this kind of arrangement facilitated by fueling the flames interpret love very superficially? Such feelings are nothing but solace in a lost mood. But fortunately, some details are still taken into account. The relationship between her and her husband is not salty or bland, and it happens that they both like others later. But there is one thing that makes me very disappointed. The combination of their old husband and young wife should last for a long time. The result here is that the old husband and wife's relationship is weaker than boiling water. Perhaps, love really is calculated minimally by minimally.

The Private Lives of Pippa Lee quotes

  • Sam Shapiro: [beginning of film: toasting Herb at dinner party] I have known Pippa Lee for 25 years and I think that I will really ever know her. She is a mystery... an enigma... giving, caring, beautiful, intelligent... the very icon of an artist's wife.

  • Pippa Lee: [after leaving hospital where her adulterous husband who wanted a divorce has been declared brain-dead, she is sitting in bed with Chris, eating french fries after having climbed through his window] So... it's official, nobody needs me anymore.
