The third comedy from the director of 40 YEAR OLD VIRGIN and KNOCKED UP brings together "R-rated comedy dude" Adam Sandler and up-and-coming comedian Seth Rogen about the "death experience" of a comedy superstar. The first half is a bit about the meaning of the comedian's life, so it's relatively serious. Although there are some smirks to neutralize it, it's a little dull.
Personally, I think the highlight is a bunch of cameos (including Eminem), as well as Eric Bana and his confrontation with Adam Sandler in the back. Seth Rogen's performance here is nothing new compared to Knocked Up, but it's not lost.
